Packages Xmlelement

Somebody can help me please,I look for the package to use xmlelement
in the request on 9I or 10G.
for example when I lauch SELECT
                       XMLELEMENT("octave",empno)
                      AS xml_octave
                           FROM emp e;

I suspect you want an Oracle forum rather than an XML one.

By "9I" and "10G" are you referring to release versions of Oracle?

If so, I would suggest asking on an Oracle forum.
