popContextNodeList when stack is empty - eh?

When I try to transform my document I get the error:

Warning: popContextNodeList when stack is empty

It happens with one document and not the other and I am not sure why.

I am using the xercesImpl.jar class for Java.

I cannot supply examples I am afraid as the documents I am working with are confidential and I cannot reproduce the scenario as I do not know what causes it.
