Default Getting the Current Date in XSLT

Is there a way to get the current date in XSLT on it's own, similar to the way ASP uses date()?

In XSLT 2.0 use current-date().

In 1.0, no. Pass the current date into the stylesheet as a parameter.

That's what I thought, but I thought that I'd check before I went ahead and did that. Thanks Michael.
