Default avoid self closing tag in xml

Hi good morning!

I have developed XSLT for transforming xml into xml.

Ex :
input xml

sample1

<desc></desc>

output xml

sample1

<desc/>

In the transformed xml file I am getting self closing tag for the empty data element.

But for us our parser does not support self closing tag. I want the transformed file output with out self closing tag.

please help

So you have an XML parser that cannot parse valid XML? That sounds quite bad and I feel sorry for you. Any chance you can change XML parser?

Then I would recommend you to ditch your parser and replace it with a real XML parser. There are plenty of good ones around.
