Default How to get the value of a node/element

Hi folks,
I need to get the value of a xsl element and my i/p is as follows:

Here i need to retrieve the value of a attribute "owner", as you can see the value is michael.

The value you are interested in is not part of the markup but rather in a CDATA section so you would need to parse that CDATA section with an extension function like saxon:parse http://www.saxonica.com/documentatio...ons/parse.html, then you could apply XPath on it.
Can you use Saxon from http://saxon.sourceforge.net/? Or which XSLT processor do you use/need/want to use?

If there is no CDATA section as shown below then how to get the value,below id my i/p:
