Default getTransformer from which package?

Hallo everyone,

I have a code line:

Transformer transhandler = getTransformer("xslt-File", propsfile);
In the code, it has these imports:

import javax.xml.transform.Source;
import javax.xml.transform.Transformer;
import javax.xml.transform.TransformerConfigurationException;
import javax.xml.transform.TransformerException;
import javax.xml.transform.TransformerFactory;
import javax.xml.transform.stream.StreamResult;
import javax.xml.transform.stream.StreamSource;
I can not find out, from which package the method getTransformer() comes from.
In fact, I found a class which has the method getTransformer() :

This class is in the class java.lang.object

But since I dont import java.lang.object, why can I run getTransformer() ?

Thank you for the help.

The implicit target of your getTransformer() call is "this", so the method must be declared within the class itself, or a class that it inherits from.
