Default namespace problem

I've created a .net app which use the xml object
on the xsl file I've had put the following namespace
<stylesheet version="1.0" xmlns:xsl="http://www.w3.org/XSL/Transform">
when I run it I got a message telling me that I'm using a wrong namespace.
Anyone does know why is that?

Because yor elemnt name is not prefixed correctly, you need either:
<xsl:stylesheet version="1.0" xmlns:xsl="http://www.w3.org/XSL/Transform">...
<stylesheet version="1.0" xmlns="http://www.w3.org/XSL/Transform">...
