You got to use it this way.

[ URL="http://www.something.com" ]This is Something but nothing[ /url ]

That appears as This is Something but nothing to be clicked on. That way you won't find it behaving odd.

PS: for the above statement not to be processed the way an URL has to be on this page, I have left spaces around [,]s
