Well, it doesn't always have to be like that.

Apparently, you're looking at what Microsoft calls a Friendly Error Message. To turn that feature off, follow the steps in this FAQ: http://Imar.Spaanjaars.Com/QuickDocID.aspx?QUICKDOC=264 and then run the page again.

You should get more, detailed and very unfriendly error messages ;) Can you post those to this list?
