Actually this is a quite good place to post a question like that and it is by no means out of place. The post was well authored and to the point.

Unfortunately, I can not answer this for you as I am not a Game programmer nor did I go to a trade school that specialized in that type of programming. The thing about math is, it is ALWAYS the same, regardless of where you choose to go and take your classes. Unfortunately, being that you have poor math skills right out of the gate, I think you would do yourself a diservice by going striaght to gamming school and *hoping* to pick up trig/calc/and linear alegebra; if your fundamental skills are weak, you are probably going to have problems with the advanced math classes.
