How useful is it to study this book??
How much of PHP 3 has been superseeded by PHP 5 (or even newer versions)?

I've tried various examples in Chapter 3. These do not work under XAMP on my PowerBook G4, running Mac OS Leopard (Mac OS 10.5.8)

Any recommendations??
