Default Searching the forums on p2p.wrox.com

Have you ever noticed the "search" link in the menu bar on all of the pages on p2p.wrox.com? The drop down from that includes both a simple search box and an advanced search link.

If you have a question about a book or technology and want to see if something similar has been asked before, this advanced search link is your friend. It takes you to this page:
http://p2p.wrox.com/search.php

beyond just the usual search match types, the options there that are really helpful for forum searches are:
  • Searching for something on one specific forum instead of all the forums
  • Searching either the entire message or just the subject
  • searching by a date range
  • searching for a post by which member posted it
I'd encourage every new member and infrequent participant to get familiar with this feature before posting a question. You just might find the answer!
