At the risk of sounding cynical, I think what those of us who have gotten "short changed", are trying to say, is that perhaps more research could have been done by someone (usually the publishing folks) before taking on the responsibility of (buying) certain Wrox books, without first researching the "loose ends" associated with said books. Also, continuing to sell said books, without first tying up these "loose ends" leaves something to be desired, you think?
