Don't worry yourself with IP addresses, just use UNC.
For example, rather than having:
192.168.1.1/ShareFolder/YourFile.mdb
use the computer name - such as
\\Server\ShareFolder\YourFile.mdb
Access doesn't use IP like browsers do.
Also - if it's on a shared drive, you can connect to it on that shared drive, such as
X:\YourFolder\Yourfile.mdb
to link to the tables, go:
File --> Get External Data --> Link Tables
Then choose the file
