Default Access 2002 VBA CD-ROM

when i copy the files from the CD to my hard drive, and then click on the Beginning Ice Cream database file, Access gives me a dialog box that says it is 'read-only'. i thought i saw a post on-line that addressed this problem, but can't find it now! can anyone help me, please? thx!

Using Windows Explorer, locate the file (in your C: drive). Click on it once to highlight it. Right-click on it. Select Properties and remove the check from the Read Only check-box.
