Default databases

I have designed a database for the membership of a club and I'm now about to start building it. I've been told that MySQL has a better reputation as a backend database for a web front end than Access.

Would someone like to comment?

Yeah I am totally agree with this that Mysql is much better than MS Access becuase MS Access need more space to store data. and Mysql can store a large amount of data as wel

mysql is good if you will be having a huge number of members.
but if your members will only be less than a 100 in total, i suggest
ms access is better because it will be easier to maintain.
