Default AC2000 - Subform Issue

Sorry for the newbie question, but how do I stop Access 2000 removing the white space from the top of a sub-form?

It is also removing the top horizontal line off a text box (if it is the first object on the subform) or removing the top half of all characters within a label.

I have tried setting "Auto Resize", "Auto Center" to "No" on the main and sub forms; "Can Grow" and "Can Shrink" on the detail on the sub-form; modifying the values of "Top" on the objects; etc. All to no avail.

Please note that the sub-form is not a datasheet and I would prefer not to use a "wizard" as I have over 50 forms in my project.

Any help gratefully received.
Marcus.
