Default Blank subform

I have a main form based on a query of tables 1,2 and 3. I also have a query based on tables 4,5 and 6 and wish to use this as the subform for the main form. However, when I try to view the subform it is blank! The link field appears to be correct and there is as dynaset for the subform. Can anyone offer me any ideas as to the resolution of this problem as I have looked at this for awhile.
Thanks in advance.

what version of access are you using?

Using access xp/2003 check your subform properties for the unique table and select the table in which the original query or table is based on.

Jaime,
I'm using version 2000. Also, when I try to add records to the subform Access tells me that I am adding duplicate records, if that adds more light to the situation. In addition, I tried an experiment where I set the main form as just one field (the link field) but the subform still displayed no data.

Is your subform based on the same query or table as the main form?

create a separate view or query for your subform.

The main form uses different tables to the subform.

Hi,
I sorted it out. There was a problem with the link field although it appeared to be correct.
