Default Instant updating of table

Hi

I am a bit of a novice so bare with me. I have a form that uses as a recordsource a table of data. i have created a function that calculates a persons age. I have put the table into a record set looped until EOF and edited the teax code field so that the letter N will be output in the filed if age is under 16 else B if over 16. The update works fine but I cannot see it update instantly in form view ie I press the button that calls the function on the form cannot see anything happen yet if I go into the table I can see the figures have correctly input to the tabel. Any ideas?

Cheers

I absolutely refuse to bare with you! I have my modesty, after all...

(Be glad to bear with you though...)

Try the .Requery method of the form.

The Requery method updates the data underlying a specified form, or a control that’s on the active form, by requerying the source of data for the form or control.
