Updating table every now and then

Hi,

Is there a way I can give a command it will execute an SQL Syntax every x minutes?
I need to update a table every x minutes with new data from other tables....

I thought of executing a page every x minutes from the page the user is watching the data.

Can this be done?

Hi David,

Could you create the file as a vbs / js / wsf script file and execute it using the windows task scheduler on the server?

Hi Chris,

I will take a look at it. At this moment I tried the next:

Created an ASP Page which contains the SQl Syntax and in the <HEAD> I have a refresh command for every 120 secs. So this way it will update the table with new data.

This page will be executed on the server.... Still it isnÂ´t the best way, but works. Maybe I will make a little EXE in Powerbuilder and run it in the sheduler on the server
