I have a form and a two sub forms.

One sub form works well.

The other is a problem child. It shows up when there is data in the subform (ie from the table) but the subform does not show up when there is no data in the table. It used to work. I managed to out data into it. Now I cannot see the subform for new records to enter the data. I must have changed something .. but I have checked and re-checked many times and just can't see it. I know it is there & it is bleedin' obvious ..... can some one please give me a nudge in the right direction.

Did you set the subform to allow additions? Look in its properties and check the AllowAdditions property and make sure it's true.

Thanks Greg, that's is were it was. I was turing on/off the additions/edit/delete optins to try to get a little secutrity for the data (which I never really got going) and somewhere along the line had not reset the stuff on the subform. Thanks. Stephen
