read a string from a comport

How can i get data or textstring from a com3 and bild it into access vba
now i`am working with hyperterminal and put it into a textfile and inporting
the text file

There is no straight way to do it, first you have to save the string in a txtfile and then you'll be able to manipulate it from Access
