I want to Display all active ComPorts in DropDown list.How Can i get all active Comports of system.I am using asp.net 1.1(C#).

The com ports on a clients machine?? You will need, at the very least, some sort of ActiveX control or Java Applet.

Actually I have a reader(Security Device).I need to assign that reader to a perticular comport which should be active on client machins.it can be server machins also.for that i am having problem to find out the Active comports of client or server machine.
