I am working on a project in access 2000 The front end is in VBA and backend in SQL. I have problems with report generation

I want to specify the record source for my report during runtime, since the query uses conditions from the fields of a form.

I am doing something like

dim rt as new report
rt.recordsource=sqlquery

this doesn't seem to work.Does anyone have suggestions?

Take a look at the help for the OpenReport Method and see if it helps. Place an open report button on your form and write this code for the On Click event. The syntax is:
The Filter Name or Where Condition will determine what records get put into the report when it opens.

I managed to find how to do it. I wrote a stored procedure, whose input parameters are set at runtime...
