Default Sending Reports via PDF

Hello,

We use Access to generate invoices and email them to our clients using the Snapshot file format. Alot of clients do not have the snapshot plug in and want the invoices in a pdf file format. Does Access have a way to send files using pdf?

You can get the pdf writter and this will allow you to print the report to a pdf printer. It actually saves it as a pdf file.

Or you canhave your clients download the snapshot viewer from MS site. It is free and probably the easier way to get this done. Unless the customer does not have access to the internet to download the viewer.

Another possible option is to keep a copy of the snapshot viewer handy. Then use the developer extensions for Access and package the snapshot viewer with the install files. That way the customer has it to install if needed.
