Default Unrecognised database format

Hi, Can anyone help please - I run an Access 2000 database on a network and it seems to regularly come up with the message saying it needs to be repaired (like three times in two days) The problem then is that I have to get all users out to repair it.
I feel that there may be something in the system causing the problem, has anyone any ideas where to look or what might be causing this.
Peter
