I'm new to this, and really don't have a lot of programming experience. I'm trying to take a database, and create a MDE file with it. I have converted it to a 2002, and have split the database. I get the screen up and it asks me what database I want to use, and what I want to name it. Then I get an error message that states "Microsoft Access has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience." Has anyone encountered this, and can give me some insight on why this is happening?

I realized after I posted the message what part of the problem was. I was creating a copy of my database, and renaming it. I forgot to go in and compile my coding again. That's why I was getting the error. I went in and fixed it, and was able to create my .mde file.:)
