Default Outlook Email Fomatting

I am sending email from a form in an access db using outlook. The to and subject fields of the email are being filled from data on the form. I would also like to use data from the form in the body of the email. The problem I'm having is with the formatting of the email body. I can bring the data into the email, but I lose the formatting (bold, italic, indents, ...). I have tried using an outlook template (loses the formatting) and a word mail merge (I can only get it to mail as an attachment) to no avail.

I would appreciate any thoughts on this.

This is just a thought...

From what I understand, emails containing formatting are written in HTML. I am assuming that when Access sends the body of the email to Outlook, it sends it as a plain text file. If you embedded formatting using HTML tags, such as 'This is some <B>BOLD</B> text' there is a good chance that it might appear formatted.

I am interested to know if this works. Yell, if you need some assistance with the tags. I dream in HTML, so I am sure I could be of some assistance (assuming that it actually works!!)
