Default File select on a form

I am trying to automate an excel import procedure and would like to add a file select field and button that opens a file select dialog box. I have been researching this and have not been able to come up with a good reference that shows how to get it done. Does anyone have an idea on how to do this?

I should elaborate. This is for an access 2000 form.
