Default Just a quick one!!!(again)

I have created an unbound text field in a form. I cannot get the results to show on my table or Query. I cannot link them because I have an expression(=DateAdd("y",+1095.75,[Date awarded]))in the control source. I need the outcome of this date to show in my table so that the quiery shows the age number. Can anyone help???:)

Satts,
Create the same unbound text field on your query that is the record source for your report. Since this is a calculated field, you should calculate it each time you need it instead of storing it on a table.

Satts,
Is [Date awarded] on your table? In query design view, paste this into
where you normally choose a field from the table.

Expr1:DateAdd("y",+1095.75,[Date awarded])

You now have a column on your query result named Expr1 that will contain the result of your expression.

Try that and let me know.

Satts,
Tell me exactly what you mean. If it's what I think, then in your query, put criteria on Expr1.

let me know.

In-date. ie, a member gets the first aid award, it is valid for 3 years(he will be in-date) after 3 years the award is null and needs to be re-taken. I have to show a report of all people who are first aid current.

Satts,
So the return value of Expr1 is the date that the award goes invalid?

If so, in your criteria for Expr1 put:

>Now()

this will produce only those folks who haven't expired as of the day you run the report.
