I am trying to compile my code but it says its successfull but two errors and theres no exe file being made either way.. heres my code

    cout << "Hey Lewis";

}

I have a project file and this code is under the project in a .cpp source file theres no header files.

Check that you don't have ANSI C turned on or something like that -- the code looks like valid C++ -- the only reason I could think of that it would error out is if you weren't compiling it *as* c++. That wouldn't valid in ANSI/ISO C.
