Default Date-Time Picker Active-X Error

I added the Date Time Picker control to a form and am getting an error whenever I scroll through records. The message box just reports an error occurred in the Date Time Picker without any number. It occurs when I have no date selected in that particular control, and the check box that is part of the control is not checked. This only occurs when I scroll off of a record that has not value in that control, and it occurs twice. Stepping through does not reveal anything is amiss.

Any ideas of how to fix it? I'm working in A2K.
Thanks,
Loralee

There is a property of the DateTimePicker (the name escapes me... "Allow null?") that will genereate an error on a DateTimePicker pointing to non-existent data.

In design, change this property for the control.

I just went and tried this. I get the error on blank data “Can’t set Value to NULL when CheckBox Property = FALSE.”

In design mode, I right-click the control.
From the context menu, I select DTPicker [u]O</u>bject > Properties
I select the “[u]C</u>heckBox” checkbox

Now I can scroll past a record with a null value for the date. The control shows a date, but the value is greyed out, and the checkbox is unchecked.

It’s a bizarre operation...

Thanks Brian,

I can't seem to find the other property you are talking about. Under the data tab, I only get Control Source, OLE Class, Class, Enabled and Locked. I have selected the Check Box already, so there must be another property I'm missing?????
