   Iam creating an Database for Asset Tracking .. in that iam having an Filed named Asset Categoires and under that Description ,i.e. for eg. let the Asset categorie be Electrical Equipement , Under this categoire the Description will be Fan fittings , Light Fittings ect... what i want to do is in the from view i will make combo box for Asset Categories & when i select the Asset categire the appropreate Description should automatically come in the Categories (Catagories is also an combo Box ..)

  I have created the field and i update the Asset categories & Categories Descriptions.. It's not an prob for me to store same data in two field bsc unique PC is used fir this and the user is not an well computer knowlodged person...

ok donal let me explain.
           The database Name Asset Tracking , this database is usefull in tracking an inventory of an equipment... this equipments are differentiate by categoires called Asset catagories .. This Asset catagories having an sub division as Asset catagories Description... is this sounds u .. pls follow the Example below

Scientific and laboratory equipment - Asset Categories
Instruments - Asset Categories Description

Computers and Peripherals - Asset Categories
Computers and Peripherals - Hardware - Asset Categories Description
Computer Software - Asset Categories Description

Books and Journals - Asset Categories
Library Books - Asset Categories Description
Journals and Periodicals - Asset Categories Description

In the above I have made two table Asset Categories & Asset Categories Description
 Asset categories is the primary for asser categories..

 Now my requirement is When i am going to creat a from the Asset categories and Asset Catrgories Description are of combo box and what i need is when i select an asset catagories the appropriate asset categories description should shown in the combo box ..

    what iam getting is when I select the whole Asset Categories Description are showing ..
 pls give me an solution.

These are called "cascading combo boxes," or "synchronized combo boxes."
