"You cannot convert an Access MDB to an EXE directly. The best you can do is create an MDE file."

 But thats what iam asking..what the use of an MDE file in Ms Access..

 Pls give me an idea to do this ..

It prevents the user from modifying the design of the database or altering any code.

Dont quote me , but i thought the MDE's were also a little faster in execution.
