Hi All
I have a calendar control connected to a combo box.The combo box has nothing in it the user selects the combo box drop down and selects the date required.What I am trying to do is when the combo box becomes dirty it changes the status of the call from open to closed.But on the combo box becoming dirty this will not change the status.Is there a way around this

I am not sure what you want here. Do you want to prevent the status from changing when the combo box is dirty, or do you want to change the status when the box is dirty?

I would put this on the Form's Before Update Event;

'--------
Sub Form_BeforeUpdate ...

If IsNull(Me.DateCombo) Or Me.DateCombo = "" Then
   Exit Sub
   Else
   Me.Status = "Closed"
End If
End Sub
'----------

That should do it.
