Default Export Data to Excel

When exporting data from a report to Excel we are getting an error stating the following. Must note that there are many reports in the same application and that only one of the reports is giving us the error.

The formats that enable you to output data as Microsoft Excel, rich-text format, MS-DOS text, or HTML file are missing from the Windows Registry.

Run Setup to reinstall '<application>' or, if you are familiar with the esttings in the Registry, try to correct them yourself. For more information on the Registry, click help.

Because the other reports are exporting correctly, it's difficult to comprehen that it could be a registry setting that is wrong. I Google'd the message it suggests that the filename being specified for the Excel is invalid, which has been checked and is correct.

Would appreciate any other suggestions to resolving this problem.

Regards,

Sean Anderson

I would check the filename further. Perhaps there is a mistake in the pathname, and not necessarily the filename.

Sorry, if you are generating the filename with path with code, send it to a messagebox to see what it is creating so see if the syntax got messed up.
