Default Auto Detect URL/Hyperlink in textbox or memo

In C# RichTextBox control there is the ability to have URLs/Hyperlink automatically detected and if they are clicked an event is generated that can be reponded to so that a browser may be opened etc.

Is there such a capability in MS Access?

Or is there a "3rd party" control that can be added to an Access DB that will give this capability?

I am using Access to maintain a "Reading Notes" database and sometimes the notes contain URLs embedded in a textbox or memo and I'd like to be able to click on it and have a browser automatically open. I know I could select a span of text and send it off to VBA with a special key processing I write and it could attempt to open a browser. But it would be nice if Access could identify spans that look like a URL and then auto select and detect clicks like C#.

You can specify that the field in the underlying table for the form be of type "Hyperlink." That will make the textbox open your brower to the page when clicked.

As far as the memo field is concerned, I don't know if Access 2007 allows Rich Text Formatting (RTF) within a memo field. Previous versions do not, so you cannot make a URL within a memo field clickable. If Access 2007 does allow RTF, it may be possible, but something tells me it doesn't.
