Default Database Encryption

How do you go about encrypting a database? I have an ACCESS database which our members use to check on their account. I am using
ASP to manipulate this database. Does Access have an encryption feature or should I buy and encryption software for it. If I do buy it, can someone please recommend a good software?

Thanks,
Judy
