Default login page in asp.net using sql server 2000

hi

I am just trying to make login page in asp.net using vb.net can anyone help me out. I just the person enter username and password and the message display that u r successfully login in otherwise user id and password is incorrect.

I didnt get ur requirement, are you planning windows authentication or are you using any database for storing the username & pwd

I am just making login page userid and password is saved in database.

If that is the case, you can write code on the click event of the login button to read the database and check for the username and password.
