Hi, I am working on a Real Estate application, that will be used to sell properties, data is stored in a database (including number, area, dimensions.. etc.) with each block of properties having one common plan or map (a JPEG image). The application is supposed to keep track of all sales, and to update the image dynamically with each selling by marking out the soled property and changing the color of the square representing it on the map.

Is their any ActiveX DLL available for such a problem, I have run a search and found many image editing tools, but don’t know where to start, what is the best approach.

There's a whole slew of things you can do with images in the System.Drawing namespace of .NET.

You should be able to do what you are looking for with some of the classes there.
