It is difficult to say without seeing your sample code. If the DotNet Framework has a trace feature use it, in order to give incite into the culprit. When the oracle connection is established and open is the entire database read or selected tables in the oracle database? This, your issue, my be the reason why Oracle suggest using the JDeveloper Edition with 10g.

Hope this helps.

This is my sample code for Select Query. I wonder inspite of all these actions why it is taking to much space in memory(RAM). Also it think so that JDeveloper version for dotnet is in Dotnet2.0 not in 1.1. If so then please do inform me. Thanks

        Conn = Objconn.OleDb_SQL_Connection;

            ObjCmd = Entity.Get_All(); // interface
            ObjCmd.Connection = Conn;

            OleDbDataAdapter da = new OleDbDataAdapter(ObjCmd);

            DataSet DS = new DataSet();
            da.Fill(DS);

            ObjCmd.Connection.Close();
            ObjCmd.Connection.Dispose();
            ObjCmd.Connection = null;

            DataView DV = new DataView(DS.Tables[0]);

            DS.Dispose();
            DS = null; //null
            da = null; //null
            Objconn.Dispose(); //null
            Conn.Close(); //null
            Conn.Dispose(); //null
            Conn = null; //null
            ObjCmd = null; //null

            return DV;
