Default widgets

hi joe and jeremy,
I read professional ajax .It is very good book for web developer.In the widget part u have given the four kinds of widget.bt in my application acronym search tool i have to create a widget for another this in another application sparsh to get a search value from sparsh then pass it to acronym without leaving the page and extract the information from acronym one nd displays it to sparsh.plz give the information which code i should use.
