I have installed tomcat on my system and i have set the env. variables JAVA_HOME and CATALINA_HOME.
But when i run startup.bat file i get an exception "java.util.MissingResourceException: Can't find bundle for base name org.apache.coyote.tomcat4.LocalStrings"

If you're having trouble installing tomcat, maybe you can download the jwsdp webservicepack from sun. It includes tomcat5 and it's an automatic installation. You don't have to set the catalina_home variable or anything and it runs the first time you start it. Here's the link:

your webprojects will go under jwsdp-1.3/webapps
