Default Why Tomcat5.5.9 can't work?

I installed JDK1.5.0_04,and set environment as follows:
JAVA_HOME=C:\jdk1.5.0_04
path=c:\jdk1.5.0_04\bin

Then I installed Tomcat5.5.9£¬and set port is 8080£¬then I set environment TOMCAT_HOME=c:\Tomcat 5.5,
At last I start Tomcat,Tomcat information is follows:
2005-8-12 14:57:18 org.apache.coyote.http11.Http11Protocol init
Info: Initializing Coyote HTTP/1.1 on http-9090
2005-8-12 14:57:18 org.apache.catalina.startup.Catalina load
Info: Initialization processed in 2312 ms
2005-8-12 14:57:18 org.apache.catalina.core.StandardService start
Info: Starting service Catalina
2005-8-12 14:57:18 org.apache.catalina.core.StandardEngine start
Info: Starting Servlet Engine: Apache Tomcat/5.5.9
2005-8-12 14:57:18 org.apache.catalina.core.StandardHost start
Info: XML validation disabled
2005-8-12 14:57:20 org.apache.coyote.http11.Http11Protocol start
Info: Starting Coyote HTTP/1.1 on http-9090
2005-8-12 14:57:20 org.apache.jk.common.ChannelSocket init
Info: JK: ajp13 listening on /0.0.0.0:8009
2005-8-12 14:57:20 org.apache.jk.server.JkMain start
Info: Jk running ID=0 time=0/31 config=null
2005-8-12 14:57:21 org.apache.catalina.storeconfig.StoreLoader load
Info: Find registry server-registry.xml at classpath resource
2005-8-12 14:57:21 org.apache.catalina.startup.Catalina start
Info: Server startup in 2547 ms

Then I want to visit Tomcat,I write address in IE£º
http://localhost:8080

But IE show:don't find server!
Why?

Meantime I find I use lower version tomcat than Tomcat5.5.9,I still can't show the display of http://localhost:8080

Why??? How to do it?:(

Hi,

Just curious. Did you check it out on port 9090?

http://localhost:9090/

Coz, port 8080 is not mentioned anywhere in the information provided by Tomcat.

Info: Initializing Coyote HTTP/1.1 on http-9090

This suggests that it is listening on port 9090.

Please let me know if this works.

Regards,
eNJay.
