Default I have trouble on new applications

I am a freelance programmer, building websites, private programming solutions. I have an invitation to a company to build programs. I know the Java languages, I know the routines of the languages, but the challenge was creating a program for touch scren applications. Now I'm bugging about it is there's any command or sub-routines that can perform to apply to a touch-screen. Can someone show me samples of it. Sen it to my e-mail: ricmc_erg404@yahoo.com thanks for the time on reading my short problem. TY.
