Send outlook task

Howdy,

Is it possible to use CDO to send an Outlook Task, rather than an email?

I would like to have a user log in to a basic web app, and in doing so, a task is automatically sent to another's Outlook account. This task pops up a reminder after a set time.

Sounds quite unlikely that this is possible, but it would be pretty cool if I could do it.
