Default Chapter 3 - Database Table

In Chapter 3, Creating the Table - Page 70 - Step 6
The book mentions setting the Identity property to YES and leaving the Identity Seed and Identity Increment as default value 1...

My option for all three is grayed out... I can't edit these properties...

Can you help?

In order for a column to be an identity column, it must be a numeric data type, usually an integer.

Yes... Peter, thank you... That was it, I mistakenly had the Data Type as "char" not "int" as the book specifies...
