Default Pausing a web application

I need to view variables or trace I am having problems debugging over a server

I need to look at the following:

ch = getch() pause here I am not sure how to do this in vb.net.
also should I use Response.Write to trace my variables?

Any help would be appreciated.

To pause you could just do a responae.end. Nothing after that will be done. And the use of response.write to check your variables is a good way.
