Is it possible to execute our own exe programs from asp.net pages ?

ASP.NET may not be able to launch EXEs for security reasons. Even if it does, if the EXE has interactive input, it would lead to system instability, if the EXE goes into an endless loop waiting for the user response,since ASP.NET is designed to run as a background service rather than interacting with the desktop.
