Default Password protected directory

How I create a directory in server with password protected in asp.net using c# so that unauthorised user can't access the files i.e. when someone type the url it ask username & password.

.htaccess and .htpasswd theory is uded in linux server to solve this problem.

If you have access to the server try installing 'IISPassword' (freeware-$0). This is really good, hope will work for you.
